I’m a sucker for a diner that gets the little things right, and Miami Beach has a wilder spread of them than you’d think. You can be hunched over a perfect plate of ropa vieja in a room that smells like sidewalk heat and Abuelita’s kitchen, or you can be ordering wings so juicy they demand a second drink at a place with zero pretense.

Stubborn Seed will make you rethink what a tasting menu can be, while Havana Beach serves pancakes that taste like a hug from Maia, who will remember your name next time. This list runs from oceanfront seafood to late-night tavern grub, all of it verified by my own happy, overfed wanderings.

Go on, pick your next table and loosen your belt.
